Medical Human Factors

Rollin J. (Terry) Fairbanks, MD, MS, FACEP is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He is a patient safety/Human Factors Engineering researcher, EMS Medical Director, and board certified emergency physician. His clinical practice is in the adult and pediatric emergency departments at the University of Rochester Medical Center/Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.

Dr. Fairbanks has made numerous presentations on event reporting systems and their potential to contribute to systems-based improvements in patient safety.
